The first steps in the organization of distance education at the university began in 2012. Center for Distance and Continuing Professional Education and Professional Development has been opened in on 2013 the University. The center was created in order to attract an additional contingent of students for contract education, the development of distance education system at the University. The provision of additional educational services, aimed at updating the knowledge and improving the skills of the teaching staff and employees of the structural units of KNAU, civil servants, specialists of the agricultural sector, due to the increased requirements to obtaining affordable education, to the level of qualification and the need to master new ways of solving professional problems.
